How it works

These are the photographs you would least like on somebody else’s server, and there is no server. Sync moves them through your own private iCloud database if you switch it on.
Each picture keeps the day you took it. Nothing is scored, compared or turned into a percentage.
The export writes everything you have typed to one JSON file. Photographs are the one thing it leaves behind for now, which is on the list.

Yes. The library in Settings has a switch beside Progress Pictures, and turning it off takes it out of the sidebar, the search and the Today screen. The other 26 switchable modules work the same way.
Yes, once iCloud sync is unlocked for $14.99, paid once and covering the Mac and the iPhone together. Until then Progress Pictures keeps its data on the device you typed it into, and it goes nowhere else.
