The Weight screen with today at 77.9 kilos and up 0.1 since last time, a smoothed line across the last fortnight between 77.5 and 78.5, and the logged readings underneath with their dates and times.
Seven readings, drawn as a curve you can follow.

How it works

  1. A line, smoothed

The scale sits between 77,5 and 78,5, so you see the wobble without a fortnight of ordinary variation being drawn as a crisis.

  2. Change since last time

Up nought point one against your previous reading, with the fortnight average beside it for the days when one number is not enough.

  3. Every reading keeps its timestamp

The history lists each one with its date and time, which is how you notice that the alarming readings are all in the evening.

Asked about Weight

What is the Weight module in Cadence?

What your weight is doing over a fortnight, instead of what it did on one unhelpful Tuesday. The scale sits between 77,5 and 78,5, so you see the wobble without a fortnight of ordinary variation being drawn as a crisis.

Can I switch Weight off?

Yes. The library in Settings has a switch beside Weight, and turning it off takes it out of the sidebar, the search and the Today screen. The other 26 switchable modules work the same way.

Does Weight sync between the Mac and the iPhone?

Yes, once iCloud sync is unlocked for $14.99, paid once and covering the Mac and the iPhone together. Until then Weight keeps its data on the device you typed it into, and it goes nowhere else.
