As many as you like, per note
The Notes screen with chips for the home, ideas and work tags, a pinned note about sync architecture at the top, and five more notes each showing a line of their text, when they were last touched and their tags.
The pinned one stays up top. The rest sort by when you last touched them.

How it works

  1. Tags as chips

Home, ideas and work across the top. Click one and the list narrows to it, and a note can carry several.

  2. Pinned stops it sinking

The note you keep coming back to takes a pin and holds the top while everything else sorts by recency.

  3. The first line does the work

Each note shows enough of itself to be recognised without opening, plus when you last touched it. Twenty eight minutes ago is usually all the identification you need.

  4. Type # to link something

Mention a trip, a recipe or a project by typing a hash and its name. The link stays live and opens the thing it points at.
