The Pomodoros screen with a twenty five minute timer ready to start, a row of lengths from fifteen to ninety minutes, a field for what you are working on, and totals of three today and forty nine all time over a bar chart.
Pick a length, name the work, go.

How it works

  1. Five lengths

Fifteen, twenty five, forty five, fifty, ninety. Twenty five is the default, and the other four exist because twenty five is often wrong.

  2. Name what you are doing

One field above the button. It costs two seconds and it is the difference between forty nine sessions and forty nine sessions you can account for.

  3. Forty nine sessions, twenty hours

Counted all time, with three today and a chart of the last fortnight underneath.

Asked about Pomodoros

What is the Pomodoros module in Cadence?

Focus in blocks, with a name on each one so the totals mean something later. Fifteen, twenty five, forty five, fifty, ninety. Twenty five is the default, and the other four exist because twenty five is often wrong.

Can I switch Pomodoros off?

Yes. The library in Settings has a switch beside Pomodoros, and turning it off takes it out of the sidebar, the search and the Today screen. The other 26 switchable modules work the same way.

Does Pomodoros sync between the Mac and the iPhone?

Yes, once iCloud sync is unlocked for $14.99, paid once and covering the Mac and the iPhone together. Until then Pomodoros keeps its data on the device you typed it into, and it goes nowhere else.

Keep Pomodoros. Ignore the other twenty five.
